GOOD HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH · WESTLAKE, LOUISIANA
Welcome to
Good Hope.
Rooted in faith since 1876, we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and serve our Westlake community.
150 years of faith, worship, and service1876–2026
ABOUT GOOD HOPE
Our faith.
Our church.
Our story.
Faith across generations.
Our story began as a mission established by Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Mossville. In 1876, that mission became known as Good Hope Baptist Church. Our legacy continued through the faithful leadership of Rev. Madison Clark, Jr., our previous pastor from 1982 to 2015, and continues today under Rev. Timothy Ceasar, our current pastor, who began his service in 2016.
Through seasons of growth, storms, and rebuilding, we have continued worshiping and serving together. We rededicated our restored sanctuary in June 2024 and celebrated our 150th anniversary in June 2026.
